St. Thomas Convent School, Begumganj observed Nasha Mukt Bharat Day on 1st July 2025, reinforcing the importance of a healthy, drug-free lifestyle among students and the school community. The day was marked with awareness activities and educational programs to promote the message of saying “No” to drugs and addictions.
The event began with a special assembly highlighting the harmful effects of alcohol, tobacco, and other addictive substances on health, education, and overall well-being. Students actively participated in discussions, slogan writing, and poster-making activities to creatively express their commitment to a substance-free life.
Teachers guided students on adopting healthy habits, positive thinking, and making responsible choices. The Principal addressed the gathering, emphasizing the role of education, awareness, and peer support in creating a nasha-mukt society.
The day concluded with a pledge by students and staff to lead a healthy, disciplined, and addiction-free life, contributing to a safer and stronger community. The celebration instilled awareness, responsibility, and a sense of social duty among young learners.
