Janmashtami Celebration

St. Thomas Convent School, Begumganj celebrated Janmashtami with great devotion and enthusiasm on 14th August 2025. The festival, which marks the birth of Krishna, was observed with spiritual fervor and vibrant cultural activities.

The celebration began with a special assembly where students were informed about the significance of Janmashtami and the teachings of Lord Krishna, emphasizing truth, righteousness, and devotion. Beautiful devotional songs and bhajans created a divine atmosphere across the campus.

Tiny tots dressed as Radha and Krishna added charm to the occasion with their adorable appearances. A short skit depicting scenes from Krishna’s childhood, including the playful “Makhan Chor” episode, was presented by students and was widely appreciated.

Colorful dance performances based on devotional themes captivated the audience and reflected the cultural richness of the festival. The school premises were decorated with flowers, diyas, and traditional ornaments, enhancing the festive spirit.

The Principal addressed the students and encouraged them to follow the values of honesty, courage, and compassion as taught by Lord Krishna.

The celebration concluded with joy and positivity, leaving students inspired by the timeless teachings of Lord Krishna.
